LifeEcho Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the LifeEcho Affiliate Program. We're grateful you're here. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") explain how the program works and what's expected on both sides so everything stays clear, fair, and smooth.

By applying, being accepted, or promoting LifeEcho using your link or code, you agree to these Terms. If anything ever feels unclear or you need help, just reach out — we're here to support you.

1. Program Overview

The LifeEcho Affiliate Program gives approved affiliates ("you") the opportunity to earn commissions by sharing the LifeEcho 25for25 offer with your community using your unique link or code.

LifeEcho, LLC ("we," "our," or "LifeEcho") may update or change the Program at any time, and we'll always do our best to communicate those changes respectfully.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

• You'll submit an application to join the Program.
• Acceptance is at our discretion so we can keep the program aligned with our mission.
• You must be 18 or older.
• We may remove an affiliate at any time if something isn't a good fit, but we'll always aim to handle that with courtesy.

3. Commission Structure

Right now, the Program is focused solely on the 25for25 offer.

• Commission rate: 20% of the gross sale amount.
• The standard sale price is $25, which means a $5 commission for you.
• Only tracked, completed, and non-refunded purchases qualify.
• Refunds, chargebacks, fraudulent purchases, or untracked orders don't earn commissions.
• Commissions apply only to the 25for25 promotion unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

They do not apply to:

• Future LifeEcho products
• Subscriptions
• Add-ons
• Any other promotions
• Purchases made without your link or code
• Purchases you make for yourself

And to keep expectations clear: commissions are not lifetime or recurring.

4. Tracking & Attribution

We use a combination of:

• Redirect links
• URL parameters
• Cookies
• Local storage
• Internal session tracking

We truly do our best to track referrals accurately. That said, sometimes technology or user behavior can interfere — things like private browsing, deleted cookies, browser restrictions, or device switching.

If we're unable to verify a referral, we can't assign a commission.

5. Affiliate Links & Codes

You'll receive your own custom link and code (for example: https://lifeecho.org/go/YOURCODE).

Please don't:

• Modify your link or code
• Create your own variations
• Mislead people about how it works
• Use your own link to earn commissions on your own purchase

If your code appears on a coupon or deal site without permission, we may void affected commissions and assign you a new code so your work stays protected.

6. Payouts

• Payouts happen once per month for the previous month's approved sales.
• Minimum payout threshold: $20 after fees.
• Payments may be made via PayPal, Venmo, or direct deposit (depending on availability).
• Any fees charged by the payment platform may be deducted from your payout.
• You are responsible for all taxes associated with your earnings.
• If we see unusual activity or potential fraud, we may temporarily pause payouts while we look into it.
• We'll always aim to handle payout issues with fairness and communication.

7. Refunds & Reversals

If a customer cancels, disputes the charge, or requests a refund, we must reverse that commission — even if it happens weeks or months later. If needed, we may deduct the amount from a future payout.

It's not personal; it's simply how we keep the program sustainable and fair.

8. How You Can Promote LifeEcho

You're welcome to share your link through:

• Social media
• Blogs or websites
• YouTube
• Podcasts
• Email newsletters
• Direct messages (as long as they aren't spammy)

We ask that you:

• Represent LifeEcho truthfully and respectfully
• Avoid misleading or exaggerated claims
• Follow platform rules (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Use FTC-compliant disclosures (see section 9)

We built LifeEcho to honor people's memories — and we want our promotions to reflect that same care.

9. FTC Disclosure Requirements

Transparency matters.

U.S. FTC rules require that you clearly disclose when a link is an affiliate link. Examples include:

• "This is an affiliate link, and I may earn a commission."
• "In partnership with LifeEcho."

Clear disclosures help build trust with your audience — something we value deeply.

10. Prohibited Activities

To keep things fair and aligned with our mission, affiliates may not:

• Run paid ads using LifeEcho's brand terms
• Spam, automate outreach, or impersonate LifeEcho staff
• Use coupon or deal sites without our permission
• Offer cash rebates or pay people to use your code
• Make medical or guaranteed-outcome claims
• Promote LifeEcho in inappropriate or harmful environments
• Attempt to manipulate tracking or artificially inflate commissions

11. Intellectual Property

"LIFE ECHO" is a registered service mark of LifeEcho LLC (U.S. Registration No. 8047809).

All LifeEcho logos, images, and brand assets are owned by us.

You may use approved assets in your promotions, and you're welcome to ask if you need anything specific.

12. Data Privacy

To protect the people who use LifeEcho, affiliates do not receive personal customer information.

Please do not request, store, or attempt to access customer data.

13. Fraud Prevention & Audit Rights

Fairness matters to us.

To protect the Program and all affiliates, LifeEcho may:

• Review affiliate activity
• Withhold commissions during an investigation
• Reverse commissions found to be fraudulent
• Issue new codes if yours is compromised

Fraud includes:

• Self-referrals
• Bot-driven or automated clicks
• Fake accounts
• Coupon-site scraping
• Artificially inflating conversions

If anything looks off, we'll always try to communicate openly and respectfully while we sort things out.

14. Termination

If something isn't working or there's a violation of these Terms, we may end your participation in the Program.

If that happens:

• You'll stop using your affiliate link and code
• No future commissions will be paid
• Valid, earned commissions may still be paid at our discretion

We'll always aim to handle any removals fairly.

15. Limitation of Liability

LifeEcho is not liable for:

• Lost profits
• Technical issues
• Tracking failures
• Platform outages
• Payment delays due to incorrect info
• Browser or device behavior beyond our control

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

16. Indemnification

You agree to hold LifeEcho harmless from claims or issues that arise from:

• How you promote LifeEcho
• Violations of these Terms
• Improper disclosures
• Platform policy violations

This protects the program and the community.

17. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing in the Program after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We'll always aim to communicate updates clearly.

18. Force Majeure

Unexpected events happen.

LifeEcho is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages, natural disasters, or issues with third-party services.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Richmond, Virginia.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the full understanding between you and LifeEcho regarding the Affiliate Program and replace any prior conversations or emails.

21. Future Programs & Additional Promotions

We're always thinking about what LifeEcho can become. From time to time, we may offer additional products, promotions, or programs ("Future Programs").

Participation in the current Affiliate Program does not automatically include you in those.

LifeEcho may:

• Invite current affiliates to join future programs
• Set different commission rates
• Create separate terms or requirements
• Approve or decline participation at our discretion

You will only earn commissions on Future Programs after we confirm your inclusion in writing and share the specific terms for that program.

Unless explicitly stated, commissions apply only to the 25for25 promotion.
